Business Studies Department

The courses offered by the school have been designed and developed to allow students the opportunity to acquire knowledge, develop skills and cultivate attitudes which will help to fulfill their potential and maximise career opportunities. The theoretical and practical content of each programme of study is reviewed regularly to ensure that graduates are prepared for a variety of business careers at appropriate levels while the ‘ladder’ system in operation allows for student progression from Higher Certificate/Ordinary Level Bachelor Degree to Honours Degree and postgraduate studies. Individual commitment and motivation must be commensurate with ambition and aptitude if the student’s goal of academic attainment is to be achieved to the fullest extent.

At present the department offers courses from certificate level to diploma level and higher diploma. There are two specializations namely Accounting and Marketing Management.
