Computer Services Section

The Computer Services Section is under the direct supervision of the Head of ETC which is responsible for providing services related to IT infrastructure in the College. CSS has two core teams: Networking Team and Technical Support Team, both teams play a leading role in providing IT Services and consultation for both students and staff in the College. Some of the significant services provided by CSS/ETC is administration of local area network servers, maintenance of computer laboratories & classrooms that can be utilized for daily lab sessions and activities while the Library, SAC & FALs for the students is provided with internet facility, and providing OJT/EPT training for students on "PC Hardware and Computer Networks".

Through this initiative, a hotline local IP Phone number 172 was assigned as a dedicated line for the immediate response to attend technical concerns encountered within the different departments of the college. Besides, CSS Help Desk provides technical consultation and services through phone and on-site assistance, troubleshooting device problems (PCs, Printers, LCD Projectors), maintaining domain accounts and performing hardware, software and network configurations. IbriCT Staff may address their technical concerns to the Help Desk hotline or come personally at CSS/ETC Office and students may directly proceed at CSS/ETC Office and need to be queued for their concern.

CSS/ETC Staff Members are enthusiastically carrying out to optimize the best services and better utilization of IT resources that improves the educational environment of IbriCT.
