| Launching of IT Club at Ibri College by: Ms. Rosalie Balmas
Information Technology is another significant body of knowledge at IBRICT where its focus is on the four areas of specialization: Database, Programming, Networking, and Web Design. These areas contribute in developing learners skills and talents in the technological field. This department is also committed to provide social, cultural, recreational, and educational activities via technology.
To promote and explore wider talent in technology among students, the group of responsible and dedicated coordinators: Mr. William Ancheta, Mr. Kenneth Ross Lim, Mr. Shanmugam, Mr. Dohai, Ms. Amal Al Abri and Ms. Samya Al Yaqoobi have come up with an idea of organizing a group which will be the newest member of the student organization at IBRICT -- IT CLUB. IT CLUB will be officially launched on the 20th of June 2010 at the college lobby. The launching will showcase the following activities:
Aside from the series of activities during its launching, the organizers also proposed a long term plan which will benefit all students headed by its Club Advisor Ms Amal Al Abri. The projects of the club include the following:
