The Quality Assurance Management System (QAMS) in UTAS-Ibri has been established according to the ministerial decision to assure the compliance of the qualifications awarded by the colleges with set standards. The Quality Management process ensures that all the activities at UTAS-Ibri are planned, implemented and assessed effectively and efficiently to meet the national standards. The Quality Assurance Managements System (QAMS) in UTAS-Ibri is vested with the Quality Assurance Department (QAD) under the chairmanship of the College Dean. The QAMS is a dynamic process for ensuring academic standards and quality improvements at UTAS-Ibri and is reflected in the Quality Assurance Manual (QAM). The QAD is accountable for managing all processes in the college through Policy Management System (PMS) and internal evaluation processes by internal audit which are conducted periodically.
The Quality Assurance Department (QAD) aims to ensure responsible leadership is provided to the college, to guide and monitor the evaluation of learning and teaching, and the process that supports them, to ensure institutional standards are upheld and the quality of student learning experience is improved consistently. The QAD aims to take care of students and other stakeholders’ expectations and ensure that they are met. These efforts collectively help the college to improve the professional standards.
